Holly was born here at the rescue almost a year ago. Unfortunatly due to change in family home, she has had to come back to us, and is now looking for another home.

Just to let everyone know, that Holly had to have her tail amputated. This was due to the fact that, being a typical Staffy, it never stopped wagging, and she was contantly banging it on the kennel wall, so it was bleeding. This went on for about 3 weeks, and her kennel looked like a blood bath everyday. The vet said it would be best to take it off, as she was prone to it getting infected, so it was amputated last week. She is doing ok, and has been back to the vet's today for the bandage to be changed, and she has to go again on Sat to see how it is doing. As you can imagine, she is getting lot's of attention, and is currently not in a kennel, but in the kitchen, and she is loving it. Will keep you updated.

Holly is another one of our long term residents, and why you may ask, because she is a Staffy. But, she is a very typicle loving full of energy Staffy. She is wonderful off lead, and loves nothing more than burning off all her energy, and her recall is excellent. Soon as you enter her kennel in a morning, she greets you with a very very waggy tail, and you cannot get out untill you have given her a kiss and hug. She has lived with children in her previous home, so will make a lovely family pet. Come on someone, give a Staffy a home. Give our Holly a home.
