We can do homechecks in Notts/Derbyshire area for you . I work shifts so can be available at different times. I've done a couple of homechecks for you in the past but cant find my original post so thought I would repost.

Hi, just done my first Saturday morning as a volunteer and would like to thank everyone for showing me the ropes. Unfortunately I may have taken a shine to Benji (which is why I didn't ask to walk him - though if he's around next week I might!). When you're sure of my competance/incompetance; I can homecheck Clipstone/Ollerton/Mansfield - w/e only though.

Hi Gordon,
It was great to have you on board today. I find its always best not to walk the ones you take a shine too but I really can not avoid it with Mitch. I live in Mansfield Woodhouse so next time I do a local homecheck you are welcome to tag along.
See you next weekend.

If ever you need a home check done in Lincoln or surrounding areas my daugher and I could help out. It'd need to be in the evenings or weekends though because of work commitments - and I dont have a car myself so rely on my daughter or husband to ferry me around - but that's never a problem. Please PM me for phone details if you can use me for this. Netty

fruit&nut (love the name) from time to time we have dogs in that cannot cope with being in kennels , or they may be elderly or need special care so we ask if people can foster them until a permanent home is found for them Elaine will need your details in case a fosterer is needed.
angiem - if you contact annalise or elaine at the kennels they will arange a homecheck to be done.
anyone offering to do homechecks please fill in the form on the homecheck part of the forum so we can keep all your details in a quick and easy find place.
Lucyb if you want to come up to the kennels at the weekend you can meet all the dogs and staff and you will be able to help out with dog walking , cleaning etc. i can reccomend walking Sassy as she is an ultimate diamond girl. any help is appreciated
hope this answers all the questions

Hi Lucy. I am like you, I work Mon to Fri 8am to 5.30pm and I go to the shelter most weekends. We are always happy to have help either cleaning or walking the dogs. There really are not enough dog walkers to go around. You could also do some fund raising if getting to the shelter is difficult. Hopefully see you soon.x
PS If we are pushing our favourites Neil and Janette then - I recommend you walk Mitch he is the most lovely and gentle boy in the world and he likes to nuzzle your ear once you become friends!
