saying they are well over capacity and that dogs continue to come in and they will be 'forced' to put some to sleep. I have just looked on their website and they claim to be non destruct. Now I dont run a dog rescue obviously, but surely your duty is to the dogs whose lives you are already responsible for? ie if its so full they literally cant feed any more do not take any more. Yes it would be heartbreaking but surely taking care and rehoming the current dogs should be priority?! Im sorry if im out of line at all but it upset and angered me at the newsreader saying they will be 'forced' to kill these dogs.
sorry, rant over

Is this a rescue, or a dog pound, as it depends on what they are? If they are a pound, then they have no choice but to PTS, as they are contracted to take dog's in, but, if they are a rescue, then there is no exscuse, they just do not take anymore in, and care for the one's they already have. Some pounds say they are both, pound and rescue, but at the end of the day, if they are full then they will PTS.

I'm again trying to work on Dave - did you see the old (it says on the site 8yrs but I bet he is older) Cocker Spaniel called Barnaby? I really want him!

maybe they need to start an appeal for foster homes or something? sorry i got a bit emotional when the report was on, i think the newsreader could have worded it better though maybe.
