..... since adopting Whisper it's amazing how we've been re-discovering our own 'back yard!' All the walks my husband promised he'd show me in our town but never had I've now discovered lol. There's some lovely off-road walks all around Bolsover that I'd never even known about. Plus we've been to several places we'd always been 'going' to visit but hadn't got around to doing so such as Pleasley Pit Country Park, Teversal Visitor Centre and trails, Pleasley Vale Mills and we've walked all around the countryside close to our home town. Had some lovely surprises and have been thoroughly enjoying ourselves! Any dry afternoon when am off work we've been out as a trio somewhere and it's been great. ;D Obviously there's the Peak District and Clumber Park etc but it's surprising how much you take for granted that's basically on your own doorstep. The views from the Teversal Trails today were brilliant. Plus we treated ourselves to a very good value bacon cob before we set off from the Visitor Centre - and - get this - they allow dogs in the visitor centre / cafe so long as they are on leads and even sell cooked sausages for dogs! What more can a dog owner ask for! Whisper is helping us to explore and it's been great to get out and about more. She's just been good for us in every way, bless her! Wondered if other people had found the same when they'd adopted a dog or what their experiences had been!

We had the pleasure of a visit from Whisper and her new mom and dad today. It was so lovely to see her, and she is looking fantastic. Thank you so much. xxx
