Hello I wrote on another thread concerning the Stolen Bark Cash Tin about my cash plans - thought I would copy it here, as it is a really easy way to make money - most people can knock a cake together and if you spend £5 on ingredients, you should be able to more than double your money - so if anyone else fancies it I know it doesn't prevent the person that did this from being an utter shit, but I have been wanting to work out a way to raise some money to donate to you guys and this happening has encouraged me to have a proper brainstorm. I have now agreed with my manager that once a month I can make some cakes and cookies and whatnot and do a mini-bake sale at work - should make between £10-£30 a month, depending on how much I bake. My plan is to alternate months between giving the money to you and the Cyprus Cat charity (I read about it on this forum and was really touched). Anyway, my first cake sale will be on the 8th June - I will push the boat out and buy another springform tin so I can make two of my legendary carrot cakes (they always make lots of money when we sell them for Children in Need etc), plus some raisin and oatmeal and cherry and white choc cookies. My friend has also kindly offered to make her amazing brownies - so hopefully, we should make a killing on the 8th - fingers crossed x

It was lovely to meet you too Elaine - and of course, all the beautiful dogs Will be doing another bake sale next month - will continue donating to you for the time being, rather than alternating between the Cyprus Cat Sanc, as at present you have a very full kennel and a lot of vets fees to cover. Additionally, I will be coming back to the kennels in a week or two - me and the fella have been compiling a doggy shortlist in preparation - I have this evening been filling a charity bag with stuff I have been hoarding - a few books, clothes (all in good nick and some brand new - my boyfriend mum buys him clothes and he never has the heart to tell her he doesn't like them ;D) and there willl be some other bits and bobs too - just wanted to check, some of the clothes could probably do with a wash, as they have been folded in a draw in the spare room for at least the past 8 months and may smell a bit musty - am I ok to bring them in like that, or should I wash them first? x
